Rapture in the blender

Recipe


  • About two bananas, sliced.  The browner ones, the better.
  • Roughly 1/2 cup ice
  • 6-8 ounces of any type milk, yogurt, Greek yogurt, etc.
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • Optional:  Nutella, chocolate syrup, etc., to taste
  • Optional:  small amount of Splenda
  • Seven year old not included

  1. Heather I have been addicted to these since you posted this!

    One thing I've started doing is buying a big bunch of banana's and letting them get nice and ripe then peeling them breaking them into chunks and putting them in a freezer bag. Then when I want a smoothy I just break off about 2 banana's worth of chunks and can omit the ice cubes.

    My favorite is peanut butter and chocolate syrup but I've tried the +peaches and +frozen mixed berries as well. YUMMMM
